    Challenge

    The car audio industry is undergoing a significant transformation, experiencing a steady decline in recent years as most new vehicles now come equipped with built-in audio systems.

    Goals

    Our main objective was to drive car audio equipment sales through multiple distribution channels by reaching the right market segment on the most effective platforms. This was achieved through a highly focused commercial strategy aimed at conversion, despite the absence of an ecommerce platform or online store.

     

    The collaboration between Pioneer Electronics de México and Cyberclick sought to increase visibility for car audio products through strategic brand positioning on social media. The goal was to boost sales during the Hot Sale by highlighting discounts and directing customers to points of purchase.

    Additionally, the initiative prioritized database growth and improved the quality of traffic acquired through paid media campaigns.

    Pioneer launched a geolocated campaign to promote discounts on their car audio products at retail locations across Mexico, including Coppel, Elektra, Sears, and Liverpool. As part of the strategy, an influencer campaign was rolled out to create engaging content that aligned with the brand’s values, deepening its connection with the audience.

    Simultaneously, a nationwide campaign was developed to raise brand awareness and drive traffic to the website, where users could explore the products and find local distributors for online purchases. A targeted campaign was also implemented to retarget users who had previously visited the website and shown interest in the brand, directing them to ecommerce platforms.

    In addition to the paid media campaigns, a lead acquisition strategy was introduced to enrich the brand’s database. Both the influencer and product campaigns led users to specific product pages on Pioneer’s website, where strategic CTAs were placed. This approach effectively targeted high-interest users, paving the way for marketing automation during discount seasons or for future assistance.

    Furthermore, we launched a lead acquisition campaign to attract potential distributors. The attached form required potential leads to provide key information such as their budget, brand, and market presence, allowing Pioneer to qualify leads in real time.

    Results

    The campaigns achieved over 19 million impressions across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube channels. The videos created for the campaign reached more than 8 million users, generating around 18 million views and 98,000 interactions.

     

    The conversion rate from visit to lead increased from 16% to 36%. This was made possible through the inclusion of gated content on each product page, as well as the addition of various forms and CTAs throughout the website. 

    A total of 1,262 B2C leads were captured. Of these, 421 were SQLs that showed interest in acquiring audio equipment in the short term.

     

    Finally, the B2B lead acquisition campaign for distributors resulted in 350 leads.
